Howdy friends,

It’s been quite a long time since my last post. So much has happened and the world seems to be falling apart. The good news is that I have two new podcasts to introduce. Before I get into the podcast stuff, I did want to give you a quick update on why I have not posted in a year. A lot of things changed for me in my personal life and frankly I did not have the time or the creative energy to make anything. I had originally planned to make more episodes of MAP but I found myself struggling to even plug my mic in. I had no motivation to work on projects. The beauty of this not being a full time job, was that I could just stop working and it would not really matter.

Long story short is that I have not worked on anything in a little over a year and I guess I needed the break. I feel refreshed and energized. I’m in a better place physically and mentally. I moved to the hills of San Marcos, CA and it has been a lovely change that I think helped clear my head.

Now I’m excited to reveal two new podcasts that will be coming to your ear holes very soon. This time around I’m going to be using a 3rd party hosting service so I don’t have to break up the episodes. This should also allow for me to post on all podcast services with ease. Squarespace is not really equipped to host large file sizes and they are not great for giving you the tools to put your podcast anywhere but iTunes.

Anyways onto the podcasts. First up is a show that I have been wanting to do for a long time. The show is called Long Walks and Robots.

The show will act as a movie club which is exactly like a book club….but with movies. Also we will be talking about other things in pop culture such as TV shows, comic books, video games, casting news and so on. Whatever ends up being relevant at the time. The hope is that the audience will watch the movies we task ourselves to watch each week and then we will talk about what we liked and or did not like. The show premier will be next Monday Sept 28th. We have been able to bank a few episodes so for next week we will be releasing episodes 1 and 2. The following week we will be releasing episodes 3 and 4. After that it will be single episodes each Monday.

Next up is another fun podcast called…….

Sex, Drinks and Video Games will be a monthly podcast dedicated to well…..all the words in the title. We plan to talk about different subjects covering all 3 topics each episode. We are starting this as a monthly podcast due to busy schedules. If this ends up being a popular show we may consider trying to do it more regularly. It’s really up to the audience on that one.

I hope you are as excited as I am about these new projects. I also have a little “audio drama” coming in the month of October. I put that in quotations because it’s actually a little comedic skit. I will share all the details when the project is finished. Should be a nice little thing for the spookiest month of the year.
